Laptop Recording / Playing Tip . .

This is just something i learned from DJ_Mag this month and came in very handy, when using you laptop connected up to any audio equipment for either recording or playing out then its advised to loop the connection via one of these:

Ground Loop Isolator
Maplin Link to Purchase - Price £8.99

Basically it seems that when your laptop is plugged in via the power pack and connected to an audio system, the power pack gives off a 50Hz (or something like that) range, which cause noise on your sound.

I've give them a go and they work!! i was getting noise on when recording from Vinyl to MP3 and couldn't suss out where it was from!! Cheers DJ_Mag

Haha if your a cheap ass then i guess you could use your laptop without the power plug when recording hahaha!!
